Every ingredient in the Restus formula was chosen to significantly improve the quality and duration of your sleep. Here’s how:
Valerian Root 400mg, Passion Flower 200mg, Lemon Balm 200mg, Chamomile Extract 200mg, L-theanine 100mg, Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid (GABA) 100mg, 5HTP 100mg, Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate) 10mg, Melatonin 3mg
Other ingredients: cellulose capsule, vegetable stearate, silicon dioxide
Adults take 2 capsules 30 to 60 minutes before bedtime.
When I opened the bottle it had a potent smell. Is this normal?
Yes! Valerian root (one of the incredible sleep-inducing herbs in our formula) has a strong medicinal smell, which means it’s fresh and effective. The product is perfectly safe to ingest and it is not rancid.
Will Restus leave me feeling groggy the next morning?
We crafted this formula with ingredients that help you sleep deeper, so you can wake up feeling refreshed. However if you do find yourself feeling groggy in the morning, try taking one capsule instead of two. This will cut the dosage of the ingredients in half.
Can I take Restus with other Morphus products?
Yes—Restus is safe to take alongside other Morphus supplements. If you specifically want to boost your sleep quality, we recommend taking it with 1 to 2 capsules of Magnesium. You should take both supplements 30 to 60 minutes before bed.
Restus contains melatonin. Is it safe for women in perimenopause and menopause to take melatonin?
Yes! In fact, it is recommended for women in this phase of life. This research shows an association between low levels of melatonin and sleep issues in perimenopausal women. For more information and research about the effects of melatonin on sleep for menopausal women, here are some helpful resources:
Melatonin makes me groggy. Will that happen with your melatonin too?
Not all supplements are created equal. That’s why it’s so important to ensure you’re getting supplements with quality, science-backed ingredients. The right amount of melatonin should not make you feel groggy long-term. However, everyone responds differently to supplements depending on the brand or dose.
The bottom line? Listen to your body. If you’re feeling groggy, start with one capsule (half the recommended dose) and work your way up if needed.
Can I take Restus every night?
Consistency is key if your goal is to experience the benefits of these sleep-enhancing ingredients on a regular basis. However, you can also just take Restus as needed. If you find it stops working as well as it did, take a break for a few weeks and then start again or rotate it with other sleep products like Magnesium.
Can I take Restus instead of my sleeping pill?
Always speak to your doctor when it comes to taking and/or discontinuing any medication.
Who should not take Restus?
Do not take Restus if you are on medications that increase serotonin levels (ie. antidepressants and MAO inhibitors) due to interactions. Speak to your doctor if you are on medication for Parkinson’s disease. Do not take Restus if you have Down syndrome.
Where is Restus manufactured?
Restus is manufactured in a GMP Registered facility in the U.S.
