You will love these fudgy pops that are so yummy and good for you! They are also very easy to customize. You can add some fresh strawberries to the molds for a chocolate-covered fruit treat. Or you can add some mint extract for a refreshing twist. Whatever you choose, this recipe is a great way to enjoy chocolate and sneak in fruits. It can also help you cope with anxiety and hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause because dark chocolate and avocados are rich in magnesium which helps calm your nervous system. Plus, did we mention they are cold and we all need help cooling down in perimenopause and menopause.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons organic vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup raw cacao powder or dark hot chocolate unsweetened powder
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or other non-dairy milk)

Directions:

Scoop the flesh of the avocado into the bowl of a food processor and pulse to gently break up the flesh. Optional: Stir in a scoop of Morphus Fiberus to increase the fiber in your diet. Add remaining ingredients and pulse until everything is combined and creamy. Pour into molds and place in the freezer for a minimum of 5 hours.
