How to take your Morphus supplements
You are on the list. Your 15% code is on its way to your inbox right now. If it has not landed in a few minutes, have a look in your spam folder.
Everything is on this page. Find the supplements that came in your order, read those, and ignore the rest. Nothing here is going anywhere, so you can come back whenever you need to.
How to take each supplement
Listed alphabetically so you can find yours quickly.
Fiberus
When Morning suits most women
With Plenty of water, more than you think
A soluble prebiotic fiber supplement. Start at the dose on the label and do not rush ahead of it. Fiber added too quickly is uncomfortable, and that is the single most common reason women stop taking it.
Magnesium
When Evening, 30 to 60 minutes before bed. If you are taking it for steadier daytime energy rather than for sleep, the morning works too
With Water
300mg of magnesium bisglycinate chelate. It is a gentler form on the stomach than the magnesium most women have tried before and given up on.
Omega 3-T
When Daily, any time of day
With A meal that has some fat in it
High-purity EPA and DHA omega-3 softgels. The fat matters more than the timing. Eggs, avocado, olive oil, nuts, whatever you already eat. Taken with dry toast and black coffee this supplement will not absorb properly.
Sleepus
When Evening, 30 to 60 minutes before bed
With A glass of water
Non-habit-forming, so you are not building a dependency on it. Take this supplement at roughly the same time each night rather than only on the bad nights.
ThymoQuin Black Seed Oil
When Daily
With A meal that has some fat in it
Standardised Nigella sativa. This supplement is estrogen-free and does not act like hormone therapy, which is the question women ask us about it most often.
Toco-E
When Daily
With A meal that has some fat in it, same as the others
Full-spectrum tocotrienol vitamin E. Easiest to remember if you take this supplement alongside your Omega 3-T at the same meal.
How long to give your supplements
This is the part nobody tells you, so here it is plainly. Perimenopause and menopause did not arrive overnight, and supplements do not work overnight either. Nothing happens on night one.
Sleepus and Magnesium are taken at night, so if anything shifts for you, that is where you would notice it. Fiberus works on digestion, which is hard to miss in either direction.
Omega 3-T and Toco-E are different. They are daily foundation supplements for perimenopause and menopause, taken for the long run rather than for a noticeable day-to-day change. There is no moment where you feel them switch on. Judging those two by how you feel this week is simply the wrong test to apply to them.
Week one
You will probably notice nothing at all. That is normal and it is not a bad sign. What you are actually doing this week is building the habit.
Weeks two and three
This is where most women stop. Nothing has obviously shifted, the bottle is sitting on the counter, and it feels like money you should not have spent. If you are going to give up, it will be now. This is the bit worth pushing through.
Weeks four to eight
This is the window we would ask you to give your supplements before you make a call either way. Consistency does more here than dose does.
After eight weeks
If a supplement is not for you, that is real information and we would rather hear it than not. Reply to any email we send you and tell us. We read them.
Consistency is the whole thing. If you stop for a fortnight and start again, you are back at week one and the four to eight week window starts over from scratch.
Most women reorder before the bottle is empty rather than after, because the gap between ordering and the parcel arriving is exactly the gap that undoes the habit. If remembering is the hard part, a subscription is there for that reason and it is a little cheaper.

Questions about how to take something, an order that has not turned up, or anything that does not look right. None of it is too small to ask about.
Want tips for the supplement you are actually taking?
Tap whatever came in your order and we will send you a few notes specific to it over the next few weeks. Skip it if you would rather, you already have everything above.
Know someone in the thick of it?
Most women find us because another woman told them to. If you have a friend who is Googling at 2am and second-guessing what perimenopause is doing to her body, send her our way.
Look along the side of your screen for a small gift box icon. That little box is our refer-a-friend program, and it is on every page of our site including this one. Tap it, add your details, and you will get your own link to send her.
Or just tell her about us the normal way. No link, no signing up for anything. That works too, and honestly it is how most of this happens anyway.
One more thing
We will check in around week four to ask how you are getting on. No rush before then, and nothing you need to do about it now.
